The course design is a challenge and a delight at the same time, the fairways are peppered with deep pothole bunkers, like all true links courses, and the large undulating greens make for great breaking putts.
The wide and generous fairways mean that you can really open your shoulders and hit long drives and the extension to the 17th par 5 now reaches 624 yards and earning it the title of the 2nd longest par 5 in Portugal and Europe at the time of writing this.
