2 Rounds of Golf & Clay Pigeon Shooting This fantastic golf package combines a choice of courses in the Albufeira or Vilamoura areas of the Algarve, including Salgados, Millennium, The Old, Pinhal and Vilasol, however, any of the other incredible Algarve courses can be requested for this holiday, plus a Clay Pigeon Shooting competition and a trophy presentation for the best golfer and shooter for the weekend.This golf weekend begins with private airport transfers from Faro Airport to your accommodation on the Algarve (we can recommend and book various resorts that are suited to golf groups), you will be staying for 3 nights. We recommend arrival on either Thursday or Friday morning (arriving in the afternoon can affect tee times). Whichever day you choose and depending on your arrival time you will be straight out to the course for your first round at the first course of your choice, buggies, trolleys, club hire and course transfers can be added to this package if required.
After your round you will obviously be needing refreshments, Portugal Rocks Golf can recommend various bars and restaurants depending on the destination you have chosen. The morning of your second day will see you back on the course for round two, again we can add transfers, club hire and buggies or trolleys to the package. Your second evening can be spent soaking up the nightlife of either Albufeira, Vilamoura or whichever town you have chosen as your base, but be ready for the morning as your gonna be shooting clays.
The Clay Pigeon Shoot is held at Portugal's premier range just outside of Albufeira, our transfers will collect you from your hotel (there are various times to choose from). On arrival hot fresh coffee, tea, juice and traditional Portuguese cakes will be waiting for you for breakfast (again, we can arrange for alternatives if requested).
The Clay Shoot
If you have no experience with clay shoots, guns or any of the safety requirements, don't worry! Full training and safety drills are given in English by a professional marksman, guidance, one on one assistance and competition organisation is all taken care of for you plus all safety equipment and obviously, guns and ammunition are provided. You will be shooting 12 gauge shotguns against electrically catapulted clays that will be equal to one point each, for each clay hit this will be a point deducted from the combined Stableford points from the previous 2 rounds, the player with the lowest score will be crowned champion of the weekend and presented with the Portugal Rocks Golf Trophy
