Best beaches in Albufeira
The beaches of the Algarve are second to none voted some of the best and most spectacular in Europe, the incredible sandstone coves and hidden bays create secret beaches as well as long golden sand dunes that stretch for miles. Beach bars, incredible seafood restaurants that look out across the Atlantic Ocean are some of the most desirable locations in the country as the warm summer sun sets on the horizon, pour yourself another glass of ice-cold Prosecco.
Many of the beaches have watersports and activities to keep everyone entertained from jet ski hire, speedboat rides, scuba diving and even flyboarding. The most popular beaches in Albufeira are Oura Beach, in the centre of the new town and surrounded by many of the towns popular hotels. Oura is huge and is lined with bars, restaurants and full of activities for those of you who really want to be in the thick of the action. Beer drinking, loud music, groups mingling, flirting and generally letting their hair down is what you will find at Oura, however, if your looking for something a little more sedate then your next beach would be Fishermans Beach. This is the main beach for the Old Town of Albufeira, and although it's still full of like-minded stag and hen groups and has bars, restaurants and activities like Oura because it the Old Town it's just a little more relaxed and has a more chilled vibe, if however, you want things even slower and more sedate with huge wide golden sand beaches that stretch for almost 8 kilometres then you need to head east of Albufeira to Falesia Beach.
