There are endless Algarve offroad tracks taking you deep into the local national park, where you will enjoy seeing wildlife such as deer and partridge. Look out for the goat herder who wanders from pasture to pasture, caring for his expanding family of goats with their countless kids in an array of colorful coats. Marvel at the huge black sow and her squealing piglets, not to mention the lazy cattle that barely raise an eyelid as you pass them by. Look out for the cork trees, stripped bare from the branches down.
